Khutbah al-Haajah (The Sermon of Necessities) || Shaykh Al-Albaanee
There are many hadiths which state that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) opened many of his khutbahs, exhortations and speeches with khutbat al-haajah, and he also recited it during the marriage contract.
Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"Khutbat al-haajah - is mustahabb and is done when addressing people and teaching them knowledge, such as teaching Qur’an, Sunnah and fiqh, exhorting the people and debating with them. It is mustahabb to begin with this khutbat al-haajah as prescribed in the Prophet’s teachings."
Shaykh Al-Albaanee (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"This du‘aa’ may be used at the beginning of all speeches, whether it i...

What Is Considered Travelling In Islam || Ustadh AbdulRahman Hassan ||

The saying that a journey is defined by the normal practice of a people (عرف) is the preferred position of many of the major scholars. So whatever is known and called a journey by the people is a journey by definition. These scholars argue that to limit a journey to a specified distant requires specific proof, and there is no proof. Following from that: It is possible that a short distance is a...

      Placing the hands after Ruku Bismillaah: Shaykh Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz رحمه الله said: The one who thinks about the Hadiths mentioned above i.e., the Hadith related by Sahl, and that related by Wa'il ibn Hujr, and others, will realize that they indicate that it is an act of Shari`ah to place the right hand upon the left hand when standing in Salah both before and after Ruku`, because there is no details differentiating between the two postures and in fact there is no legal text that differentiates between the two postures. Moreover, the commandment of placing the right hand on the left forearm during Salah was stated also in the Hadith reported by Sahl. Yet, It is not explained when to do so while in Salah. If we contemplate what is related in this regard, it will be clear to us that it is an act of Sunnah to place the palms on the knees when in a state of Ruku`, to place them on the ground when in a state of Sujud, and to place them on both one's thighs and knees while in the state of sitting. Thus, it is only the posture of standing that is not mentioned. Accordingly, it is inferred from the Hadith related by Sahl that it is such posture that is meant. This is very clear. As for the Hadith related by Wa'il, there is a declaration on the part of Wa'il رضي الله عنه that he saw the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم holding his left hand with his right one when he was standing in Salah. It was reported by Al Nasaa'i with an authentic chain of narrators. Such wording given by Wa'il implies the standing in the two positions. As for the one who differentiates between them, he is obliged to present evidence for this. We have already referred to this at the beginning of this article. Third: Scholars state that the wisdom behind placing one's right hand on one's left hand is that this brings one closer to Khushu` (the heart being submissively attuned to the act of worship) and humility and keeps one away from fiddling. This was discussed earlier in the opinion of Al Hafizh Ibn Hajar. Since the one who is performing Salah should observe this meaning before and after Ruku`, it is impermissible to differentiate between the two postures except when a differentiating authentic text exists, which would be inevitably adopted. As for the saying of our brother scholar: "This was not mentioned at all in any of the Hadiths on (describing) Salah though they are numerous. Had this had any origin, it would have been reported to us even through just one means," our reply is that this is not true. Rather, what indicates this was actually reported in the Hadiths related by Sahl, Wa'il, and others as mentioned above. As for the one who excludes the posture of standing after Ruku`, he has to raise the reliable manifest evidence in support of this exclusion. As for his saying (may Allah grant him success): "This is supported by the fact that this was neither performed by any of the Salaf nor was it mentioned by any of the scholars of Hadith, as far as I know," our reply is that such a claim is very strange because it lacks evidence that none of the Salaf performed it. Rather, this is the very evidence that they used to hold their hands when standing after Ruku`, because had they performed other than that, this would have been reported to us and because the Hadiths mentioned above indicate that it is an act of Shari`ah to hold one's hand when standing in Salah, whether before or after Ruku`. This is what is implicated from the title that Imam Al Bukhari رحمه الله gave as we have mentioned at the beginning of this article. The opinion stated by Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar implies the same meaning. Had any of the Salaf performed other than that, this would have been reported to us. Moreover, it was not reported from the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم that he released his hands when standing after Ruku`. Had he done so, this would have been reported to us because the Companions صلي الله عليه وسلم reported from the Prophet what is less important than this regarding his sayings and actions صلي الله عليه وسلم. It was discussed earlier in the opinion of Ibn Abdul Barr رحمه الله that nothing contradictory to holding the hands was reported from the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم. Al Hafizh affirmed such an opinion and we know of no narration proving anything else. According to what we have stated, it should be clear that what was stated by our brother Shaykh Muhammad Nasir Al Din in this issue is a proof against him, not supporting him when pondering and considering the rules followed by scholars. May Allah forgive us and him. May He grant us all forgiveness. We hope that after reading what we have stated in this article the truth will be clear to him. He could return to it, because the truth is the sought after goal. { Majmu Al Fataawa Al Kubrah } And Allaah عزوجل knows best.

    On the authority of Abu Dharr (radiAllahu anhu), that the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said - “Whoever says ten times immediately after finishing the Fajr (Dawn) Payer, before moving from his place or talking to anyone, “laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wa huwa alaa kulli shay’in qadeer - [ none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah alone having no partner, sovereignty is His and all praise is for Him and He brings life and He causes death and He has full power over everything,]” ten good deeds will be recorded for him, ten sins will be eliminated from him, he will be upgraded ten degrees (in reward), he will be safeguarded from all kinds of harm all that day, he will be guarded against shaytan and no sin can overtake him on that day (and nullify his good deeds) except associating others in worship with Allaah. (At Tirmidhi no.3484 [5/515]) At-Tirmidhi commented on this hadeeth saying, “This is a hasan, saheeh hadeeth (i.e a good and authentic hadeeth)”. Likewise it is an act of Sunnah to say dhikr ten times straight after Magrib salah too, according to a hadith related by Imaam Ahmad Hanbal (rahimahullah) on the authority of Umm Salamah (radiAllahu anha), hadith number 26430. Also stated in Sahih Ibn Hibban no. 2023.

    The correct placement of the hands when standing up after rukoo’ is to place the right hand on the left forearm, not to let the hands hang by the sides. Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: it seems that the Sunnah is to place the right hand on the left forearm, because of the general meaning of the hadeeth of Sahl ibn Sa’d which was narrated by al-Bukhaari: “The people were commanded that a man should put his right hand on his left forearm when praying.” If you look at the general meaning of this hadeeth you will note that it says “when praying,” not “when standing”. Thus it will be clear that when standing after rukoo’ it is prescribed to put (the right hand on the left forearm), because when bowing (rukoo’) the hands are placed on the knees, and when prostrating they are placed on the ground, and when sitting they are placed on the thighs. But when standing - which includes standing both before and after rukoo’ - a person should place his right hand on his left forearm. This is the correct view. Al-Sharh al-Mumti’, 3/146.

      Which fitna are talking about? The only fitnah in this world are men. God says do not judge, and asked men FIRST to low their gaze. You cannot blame a woman when you cannot lower your gaze. Nasty men even rape women who do not even show their skin LOL. There is no excuses to rape women. No women can be blamed for the evilness of men who do not lower their gaze. Even children ar getting raped, so children also do fitnah? LOL. Get a life.

    Be careful to believe in this kind of preaching if dua qunut is a bid'ah then you are saying that imam ash shafi'i(rahimahullah) made a bid'ah and beware of misleading the ummah for this kind of preaching

    • @FJA95
      @FJA95 4 года назад

      Nobody is saying that Imam Ash-Shafi'ee misguided the Ummah on purpose. He made Ijtihaad based upon the evidences he had at the time. This is what all the Imams had done. But the fact is that not all of them can be correct. We have the follow the proof i.e. whatever the Quran & the Sunnah points too. More Ahadith were available later on this of why you find the the Madhab of Imam Ahmed to contain the most proofs within his rulings and least amount of Qiyaas. Hence, his Madhab is most closest to the truth in most things. However, NOBODY is infallible, so we say EVERYONE minus the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) made mistakes. I do apologize if this offends you this was never my intention. May Allah guide the Muslim Ummah to the straight path and keep them firm upon it. Ameen!
